Santee Boulders, Granite bouldering area in San Diego County, California.
The climbing site contains approximately 30 granite boulders reaching heights of 40 feet, offering more than 200 named climbing problems across different skill levels.
The Access Fund organization negotiated with private property owners to establish and maintain legal climbing access for the climbing community at Santee Boulders.
Local climbing groups regularly organize cleaning events to remove graffiti from the rocks, demonstrating the climbing community's commitment to site preservation.
Climbers can access the site from Highway 52 to Mast Boulevard, with parking available at West Hills Park across from the bouldering area.
The Dog Pile section features Kung Pao, a challenging bolted route rated 5.12d that ascends the overhanging south face of the formation.
