Temple of Immaculate Conception of Our Lady of Caborca

The Temple of Immaculate Conception is a colonial church in Heroica Caborca with white walls, a central dome, and two bell towers. The structure features clean architectural lines with a restrained exterior that stands out clearly against the surrounding desert landscape.

Franciscan priests supervised construction of this church in 1803, following design principles from Mission San Xavier del Bac. The building survived periods of upheaval in the region and maintains its original architectural form to this day.
