The Estancia Club, Private golf course at Pinnacle Peak, Scottsdale, US
The Estancia Club is a private golf course in Scottsdale with an 18-hole championship layout that stretches 7,314 yards and offers seven sets of tees with Bent Grass greens throughout. The course is woven into the natural desert terrain, with each hole taking advantage of the local topography and large boulders that define the landscape.
Tom Fazio and Dennis Wise designed this course in 1995, aiming to include the natural desert landscape in the design of each hole. The project worked with existing geographic features rather than changing them, creating a layout that feels organically suited to the surrounding environment.
The Club draws members who value golf and appreciate quiet moments on the course together. The sense of community shapes daily life here, with regular players maintaining friendships across many seasons.
The course offers rental equipment, golf carts, and professional instruction for members. Visitors should expect dry desert conditions and will do well to arrive early to take advantage of cooler times of day.
The eleventh hole is a par-3 surrounded by a natural amphitheater of boulders that wrap 270 degrees around the green. This rock formation took millions of years to develop and creates a geologically distinctive playing environment on this hole.
