Titan Plaza Mall, Centro comercial en Colombia
Titan Plaza Mall is a large shopping center in the western part of Bogotá, Colombia, spread across four floors. It holds clothing chains, electronics shops, a supermarket, restaurants, a cinema, and office spaces all within the same building.
The site once housed a factory that produced construction materials before being cleared for a new development. Planning started in the early 1990s, and the shopping center opened in 2012.
Titan Plaza Mall is deeply woven into the daily life of western Bogotá, drawing people from across the area for far more than shopping. In its cafes and corridors, you find families, students, and workers meeting up, taking a break, or running everyday errands.
The mall is easy to reach by public transit via the TransMilenio station at Boyacá, and parking is available on site. Weekday afternoons tend to be quieter than weekends, which makes it easier to move around.
The building has green roofs that visitors can actually walk through, with planted terraces tucked between the floors. The outer shape of the structure was inspired by organic forms from nature, which gives it a look that stands out among Bogotá's shopping centers.
