Fuente de la República, Modern fountain on Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City.

The steel fountain features 700 water jets and 200 lamps, using eight pumps to circulate 100 cubic meters of recycled water through the system.

In 2007, Mexico City's head of government Marcelo Ebrard inaugurated this fountain to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexico's independence in 2010.

The fountain's outer edge includes two red circles representing Mexico's eyes, reflecting the contemporary artistic expression in public spaces.

Located at the intersection of Avenida Paseo de la Reforma, Avenida Juárez, and Avenida Bucareli, the fountain remains active throughout the day.

The water jets reach heights of two meters and mirror the shape of the nearby Monumento a la Revolución, creating a visual connection between structures.
