Boquillas Canyon

Boquillas Canyon is a deep gorge carved by the Rio Grande through massive limestone formations in the Chihuahuan Desert, creating steep walls that rise sharply from the riverbed. The rock faces display distinct layers and colors that reveal the geological story of the region.
