Henrietta M. King High School

Henrietta M. King High School is a Mission Revival style school building in Kingsville featuring arched windows and smooth stucco exterior walls that reflect architectural traditions from regional missions. The structure now houses municipal government offices and serves the broader community.

Henrietta King, widow of King Ranch founder Richard King, donated the land and funds for the school's construction in 1909. A major fire in 1925 necessitated reconstruction and led to renaming the building in honor of its original benefactor.

The building displays architectural features from Spanish missions, connecting colonial heritage with local construction styles that remain visible throughout South Texas today.

The building sits at the corner of North 3rd Street and West Kleberg Avenue, making it straightforward to locate. Since it now serves as City Hall, visitors can access public areas during business hours.
