Lakes on Post Oak is a commercial complex of three office towers on a 23-acre site in Uptown Houston: 3000 Post Oak Boulevard (19 stories), 3040 Post Oak Boulevard (22 stories) and 3050 Post Oak Boulevard (17 stories). Together they hold about 1,200,000 square feet of Class A office space, and each tower has its own parking garage.

Hines Interests developed Lakes on Post Oak as an integrated office project between 1979 and 1981; the 3040 Post Oak building opened in 1982. Cottonwood Partners bought 3000 and 3050 Post Oak in 1997, while Nippon Life held 3040 until Koger Equity bought the whole complex for $102 million in 2002. CP Group reacquired it in 2010 and sold it in 2014 at a 2.7x multiple.

The lakes themselves became a daytime and evening gathering place, a role the office broker Logan Brown cited in 1997 when he called the complex the only one in Houston widely appealing to office and non-office users. Two consulates have leased space here: Angola's Consulate-General is in Suite 780 of 3040 Post Oak Boulevard, and Argentina's formerly occupied Suite 1625 of 3050 Post Oak Boulevard before moving elsewhere in Uptown by 2009.

The complex sits on a 23-acre site in Uptown Houston, with a dedicated parking garage for each of the three towers.
