The Post Oak, Mixed-use development in Uptown District, Houston, US

The Post Oak Hotel & Tower, nicknamed the Fertitta Tower, is a 36-story, 499-foot (152 m) mixed-use skyscraper in Uptown Houston, Texas. It holds a hotel, office space, residences and retail, and serves as headquarters for Fertitta Entertainment and its subsidiaries, including Landry's, the Houston Rockets and the Golden Nugget casinos. A penthouse in the building houses developer Tilman Fertitta.

The Post Oak Hotel & Tower was developed by Tilman Fertitta, whose penthouse occupies part of the 36-story, 499-foot tower. Before the hotel opened, the Landry's-owned Mastro's Steakhouse launched its flagship location in the building. The tower now serves as headquarters for Fertitta Entertainment and its subsidiaries, including Landry's, the Houston Rockets and the Golden Nugget casinos.

The tower is named after Post Oak Boulevard, the Uptown street it faces. Its restaurants include Mastro's Steakhouse, which opened as the brand's flagship before the hotel, plus Willie G's and Bloom and Bee. In the lobby, H Bar serves a $1,600 hamburger called the "Black Gold" burger, and The Cellar holds 30,000 bottles in Tuscan-style decor.

The tower stands on Post Oak Boulevard in Uptown Houston, a district laid out around car traffic and the West Loop. The hotel lobby, restaurants and shops are reached from the boulevard entrance, and the building sits within the Uptown business district, a short drive from the Galleria.

The Post Oak is nicknamed the Fertitta Tower, and a penthouse in the building houses developer Tilman Fertitta. Its spa, 20,000 square feet, is the only Forbes-designated five-star spa in Texas, and its "Ritual of the Five Worlds" treatment is offered nowhere else.
