Capital One Tower, Office building in Lake Charles, US
Capital One Tower is an office building that occupies 22 stories in downtown Lake Charles. The structure rises prominently above surrounding buildings and contains commercial spaces within its concrete and glass frame.
The building was constructed in 1982 and initially served as headquarters for Calcasieu Marine National Bank. Over time it changed ownership through different financial institutions before Capital One took over operations.
The building represented the financial growth of Lake Charles through multiple banking transitions from Calcasieu Marine to Hibernia and Capital One.
The building is located downtown and can be easily spotted from surrounding streets. It provides integrated parking facilities within the structure for convenient access.
The structure contains eight passenger elevators arranged in two separate banks serving all floors. This dual system allows for efficient movement of people throughout the building.
