CenturyLink Center, Multi-purpose arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, United States
CenturyLink Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, with seating across several levels for around 14,000 people. The floor layout can be reconfigured to suit concerts, ice shows, sporting events, or large conventions.
The arena opened in November 2000 as a large events venue intended to serve the northwest Louisiana region. Since then it has carried several different names as sponsorship deals changed hands over the years.
The arena sits on the Louisiana side of the Shreveport-Bossier City metro area, drawing crowds from both cities and the surrounding region. On event nights, the parking lots fill up well before showtime, and the area around the venue takes on a busy, social feel.
Arriving early is a good idea, especially for sold-out events, since parking fills up fast around the arena. Once inside, food and drink stands are spread across multiple concourses, so there is no need to walk far from your seat.
In September 2023 the arena hosted the return of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus after a six-year hiatus. The show had relaunched that same year, making this stop one of the first dates of its comeback tour.
