Hancock Whitney Stadium is an American football stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile. The facility includes 11 suites, 42 loge boxes, and standing room areas with space for a total of 25,450 spectators during games and events.
Construction began in August 2018, and the building cost totaled 78 million dollars. The stadium opened its gates on September 12, 2020, replacing older venues for football events in the area.
The Senior Bowl, an important college football event, took place at Ladd-Peebles Stadium for almost seventy years before moving here. The game has grown into a local tradition over decades, bringing together scouts and fans each year.
Around the facility, there are 1,800 parking spaces, allowing visitors to arrive easily. A total of 96 concession stands supply the crowd quickly with food and drinks during games and large events.
The lighting system by Musco enables light shows during games and breaks. The high-definition screens by Daktronics are among the largest of their kind and place the stadium among the top 40 sports venues nationwide.
