Brisbane School of Arts, Cultural institution in Brisbane, Australia.

The two-story masonry building at 166 Ann Street features coursed rubble walls, red brick details, and symmetrical arched openings throughout its facade.

Originally constructed in 1865 as a Servants Home, the building was purchased by the North Brisbane School of Arts in 1873 for educational purposes.

The institution provided library services, technical education classes, and public lectures, serving as a central educational hub for Brisbane residents until 1981.

The Queensland Heritage Register contains detailed information about the architectural features and historical significance of this nineteenth-century structure.

The interior design includes a lantern above the void in the upper floors that supplied natural illumination to all gallery levels.
