160 Ann Street is a 23-story high-rise in Brisbane's central business district with glass facades that flood the offices with daylight. The building accommodates multiple organizations and institutions across its floors.

The structure was completed in 1972 as one of the early high-rises built in Brisbane's business district. It emerged during a period when the city was expanding its commercial core.

Central Queensland University opened its Brisbane campus in the tower in 2011, bringing students into a building otherwise occupied by insurance and property firms. The campus occupies part of the floorspace, so lectures and offices share the address at 160 Ann Street.

The building sits in the heart of the business district and is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Its location connects well to other parts of the city center.

The building was selected in 2009 for an international energy study examining typical Australian office tower characteristics. This research highlighted how it represents common design features of such structures in the region.
