King George Central, Office skyscraper in North Quarter Precinct, Brisbane, Australia
King George Central rises 129 meters into the Brisbane skyline with glass facades and contemporary architectural elements along Ann Street.
The construction of King George Central began in December 2009, with Thiess Contractors completing the A$123 million project in October 2012.
The building stands next to the Ann Street Presbyterian Church, merging modern business architecture with Brisbane's religious landmarks.
The 27-floor structure contains 28,000 square meters of office space and 12 elevators, serving multiple commercial enterprises in the central business district.
The development by ML Design incorporated AECOM environmental consultancy services to create sustainable solutions for this downtown office tower.
