The Regency Bruin Theatre is a single-screen cinema in Westwood with a striking wrap-around marquee that stands out from surrounding streets. The venue accommodates approximately 700 patrons in one auditorium outfitted with contemporary projection equipment.

The cinema opened on the last day of 1937 and was designed by architect S Charles Lee, a renowned theater specialist of that era. Lee also created other notable Los Angeles movie houses during the same period.

The name comes from Joe Bruin, the UCLA mascot, and the cinema has long drawn students from the campus a short walk away. It has hosted film and television premieres as a private-event venue. Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" video was filmed in front of the theatre, and it appears in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The Bruin stands on Broxton Avenue in Westwood Village, opposite the white tower of the Fox Village theater, near the UCLA campus. The entrance is recessed beneath the marquee, with poster cases flanking it. The theater closed in July 2024 when its lease expired, so check its operating status before planning a visit.

The Bruin appears in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, where Margot Robbie's Sharon Tate is shown buying a ticket and watching The Wrecking Crew. Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" video was filmed in front of the theatre, and the building was animated as the Tivoli Cinema in Grand Theft Auto V.
