Murano at Portofino, Residential skyscraper in South Beach, Miami Beach, US.
The Murano at Portofino is a 37-story residential tower with 189 apartments situated along Biscayne Bay in South Beach. The building offers views of the Miami Beach Marina and the Atlantic Ocean from many of its units.
The Related Group completed this residential complex in 2001 as a major new addition to the Miami Beach waterfront at the start of the new millennium. The project contributed to the large-scale transformation of the area.
Located in the South of Fifth district, the building reflects Miami Beach's shift from a simple beach town into a modern residential hub for affluent buyers. The presence of elegant waterfront homes shapes how locals and visitors perceive this part of the city.
The building provides direct waterfront access with its own marina facilities for boat owners, making water activities convenient. Inside, residents and guests can use saltwater pools, tennis courts, and a two-level fitness center.
The building features a distinctive stepped design with three major tiers rising at heights of 25, 31, and 37 stories. This unusual profile spans about 700 feet (210 meters) along the bay and creates a striking visual signature.
