Museo Bellapart

Museo Bellapart is a private art gallery in Santo Domingo that houses nearly 2,000 works from its collection. The holdings include paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings primarily by Dominican artists.

The institution was founded in 1999 by Catalan businessman Juan José Bellapart as the first private art museum of its kind in the Dominican Republic. The collection was built from artworks the Bellapart family had been gathering since the 1960s.
