St. Petersburg Woman's Club, Clubhouse in St. Petersburg, United States

The St. Petersburg Woman's Club is a clubhouse at 40 Snell Isle Boulevard, dedicated in November 1929 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building holds a ballroom, a tea room with custom tilework, several event spaces, a kitchen and outdoor areas facing Coffee Pot Bayou.

The club was founded on February 7, 1913, by Mrs. Benjamin A. Greene, who had moved from Evanston, Illinois, where she had led her local Federated Woman's Club. Meetings were held Thursdays at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, and the club joined the Florida Federation of Women's Clubs that same year. A building fund was set up in 1922, membership reached 400 by January 1923, and the clubhouse was dedicated in November 1929. In April 1932 twelve young women formed the Junior Woman's Club as an auxiliary.

The club functions as a social hub where members gather for educational activities and community projects that benefit the wider area. You will notice it serves as a meeting place for women from different backgrounds who share interests in local improvement and helping others.

The venue sits on waterfront grounds in an established neighborhood accessible by foot or car. The interior spaces can be arranged flexibly for different types of events, and the outdoor areas provide a relaxed setting with water views.

The club joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs on November 26, 1923, when membership had reached 400. Its motto was "Each for all and all for humanity. We cannot all serve alike but we can all serve willingly and well."
