Bronson Speedway, tor wyścigowy (Stany Zjednoczone)
Bronson Speedway is a racing facility near Archer, Florida, built as a paved oval track with grandstands and lighting for evening events. The track hosts different racing divisions, from open-wheel and modified cars to specialty classes like Legend cars and hornet divisions, with clear safety barriers and good sightlines for spectators.
The speedway was built many years ago and has been part of the local racing scene, though it experienced periods of activity and closure over the decades. It shut down during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, and current owner Ann Young has been working since acquiring the facility in 2011 to restore it as a place for community racing.
The speedway serves as a gathering place rooted in the local community, where neighbors and families share a common passion for motorsport. People create memories together on race nights, cheering for drivers and experiencing the thrill of competition as a shared part of their town's identity.
The facility opens to visitors on race nights starting in late afternoon, with events beginning after sunset, and tickets are available at the gate or online. Parking is plentiful, and the speedway is easily accessible from nearby towns, with families welcome to bring picnics and enjoy safe, friendly conditions throughout the venue.
Owner Ann Young has a personal connection to racing through her family, as her husband formerly raced at a track in New York and her son races there today, reflecting her passion for saving this local institution. Despite personal challenges including losing her husband in 2015, she continues working to reopen the facility as an affordable community gathering place for families.
