The tennis facility opened in 1987 through a donation from R. Scott Linder and underwent substantial renovations in 1999 with a 1.7 million dollar investment.
The stadium serves as the central venue for the Florida Gators men's and women's tennis teams, fostering collegiate sports development in the southeastern United States.
The complex includes training rooms, locker facilities, coaches' offices, and a Ring Pavilion, with a seating capacity of 1,000 spectators.
The United States Tennis Association recognized this facility as an Outstanding Tennis Facility after its 1999 renovation project.
