The Lyric Theatre stands at 59 Southwest Flagler Avenue with a north-facing entrance on Southwest Osceola Street in downtown Stuart, Florida.
Constructed in 1926 as a silent movie house, the theater underwent multiple transformations before its addition to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
The 500-seat theater presents stage performances, music events, dance recitals, and school programs while maintaining its original architectural elements from the 1920s.
The venue features a digital sound system, a concert Steinway piano, a 22 by 30-foot stage, and updated facilities including a lobby bar and box office.
The 2014 renovation enhanced the theater with new seating, remodeled walls, and improved lighting while preserving its Beaux Arts and Mission Revival architectural style.
