The Longwood Historic District spans 190 acres near State Road 434 and County Road 427, containing 37 preserved structures from different architectural periods.
The 1885 Bradlee-McIntyre House and the 1873 Inside Outside House represent the early development of Longwood during the Florida railroad expansion period.
The former Longwood Village Inn, later known as Orange and Black, hosted the National Governors Conference in 1927 and functioned as a casino in the 1930s.
The district includes the City Hall, administrative buildings, and a 10,000-square-foot Community Building that serves current municipal functions.
The Inside Outside House features an unconventional construction method with support studs on the exterior, designed by a sailing captain in 1873.
