The museum's "Horsepower" award is an original bronze statuette by Ann Arbor sculptor Michael Curtis, and Curtis sculptures have been presented both to and by United States Presidents. Each new inductee unveils a permanent sculpture at the Heroes of Horsepower reception the night before the black-tie ceremony.
