The Daytona 500 Experience features interactive exhibits, racing simulators, and displays showcasing NASCAR vehicles and racing memorabilia across 10,000 square feet of space.
The facility opened in 1996 as Daytona USA to replace a small two-story visitor center, receiving the Themed Entertainment Association's Thea Award in 1997.
The Champion's Walk of Fame displays concrete plaques and statues commemorating Daytona 500 winners and influential NASCAR figures throughout racing history.
Visitors could participate in the Chevy 16-Second Pit Stop Challenge to measure their mechanical abilities against professional pit crew performance times.
The museum displayed each year's winning Daytona 500 car in its unaltered post-race condition, complete with race debris and victory lane confetti.
