KSU Convocation Center is a multipurpose facility with a hardwood court and administrative offices for Athletics and Health Promotion. The venue provides seating for around 4800 people and accommodates different types of events.
Designed by Heery International, construction began in January 2003 with the opening in May 2005. A major renovation in 2012 updated the facility with modern video technology.
The center hosts basketball games, volleyball matches, trade shows, conferences, concerts, and graduation ceremonies throughout the year. It serves as the campus gathering place for both athletic competitions and major university celebrations.
The facility is near parking areas at the East Deck with accessible spaces for visitors with mobility needs. Entrances are clearly marked and easy to navigate for all guests.
The venue features a large video wall system that was first installed in 2012 and updated in 2022 with expanded capabilities. This modern display technology creates dynamic visual experiences during live events.
