First Baptist Church is a modern worship facility in Woodstock with a large sanctuary on Neese Road designed to accommodate thousands of people. The building serves as the main gathering place for regular services, celebrations, and community events throughout the year.

The congregation was founded in 1837 as Enon Church and moved to downtown Woodstock in 1879, taking the name Woodstock Baptist Church in 1884. Its sanctuary burned in 1913 and was replaced by the building still standing downtown. Johnny M. Hunt became senior pastor in 1986 with attendance of 1,027; a 2,400-seat sanctuary on Neese Road opened in 1991 and a 7,000-seat Worship Center in 2005.

The church runs a clothes closet and a food pantry for the Woodstock community. Its name changed from Enon Church to Woodstock Baptist Church in 1884, and it has been known as First Baptist Church Woodstock since moving to Neese Road.
