Roswell Historic District

The Roswell Historic District spans 120 acres, featuring 28 contributing buildings that showcase Greek Revival and Late Georgian architectural designs from the 19th century.

Willis Ball, an architect from Connecticut, designed four key buildings in the 1830s: Primrose Cottage, Roswell Presbyterian Church, Bulloch Hall, and Barrington Hall.

The district includes the Roswell Town Square, which functions as a central location for community gatherings, historic monuments, and traditional celebrations throughout the year.

Visitors can explore multiple preserved structures, including Mimosa Hall, Holly Hill, and the Old Mill, while informational plaques provide details about each location.

The Old Bricks, which housed workers of Roswell Mills, and Southern Mills building from 1882 represent the industrial heritage of this Georgia community.
