Stegeman Coliseum

Stegeman Coliseum is a sports arena in Athens with a distinctive barrel-shaped roof and U-shaped seating arrangement that accommodates roughly 10,500 spectators. The building has undergone extensive updates, including cushioned seats, modern restrooms, and LED display systems throughout the facility.

The building opened in 1964 and replaced Woodruff Hall, which had served as the previous venue with only 3,000 seats since 1923. This new construction represented a major step forward in college sports facilities for the region.
