Wild Heron

Wild Heron is a plantation house in Georgia built in the colonial style of the 18th century. The building retains its original structure and many architectural features from its time of construction on an expansive property.

Francis Henry Harris acquired the land in the 1750s and established a working plantation on the property. The estate remained under family ownership for more than two centuries, becoming an important agricultural center in the region.
