Coast Guard Air Station Savannah is a United States Coast Guard air station at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia. Its crews fly search-and-rescue coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, over 450 miles of shoreline from the northern South Carolina border to Melbourne, Florida, averaging more than 250 cases a year. Missions also cover marine safety, environmental protection, fisheries enforcement, aids to navigation, migrant and drug interdiction, and defense readiness, with aviation detachments deployed aboard Coast Guard cutters.

CGAS Savannah was commissioned in the summer of 1963 at what was then Hunter Air Force Base, which became Hunter Army Airfield in 1967. In 1964 the Coast Guard's original Sikorsky HH-52A Seaguard Basic Operational Training Unit was established here, forerunner of the specialized aviator training program now at the Aviation Training Center in Mobile, Alabama.
