Congregation B’nai Israel

Congregation B'nai Israel is a synagogue on Annie Street with traditional architecture and spaces designed for prayer and community gatherings. The building houses a sanctuary for religious services and areas where members come together for celebrations and meetings.

The community was established in 1982 to serve the Karaite Jewish population in the area. The building itself was acquired in 1995 and previously housed an Orthodox congregation.

The congregation follows a direct interpretation of Hebrew Scriptures that differs from standard Jewish practices. This approach shapes how members understand and observe their traditions today.
