Goodman Library, Richardson Romanesque public library in downtown Napa, United States.

The Goodman Library features rusticated stone walls, round arch windows, and a substantial architectural design that reflects early 20th-century public buildings.

George E. Goodman funded the construction of this library in 1901, selecting architect Luther M. Turton to create a structure that marked a shift from Victorian architecture.

The National Register of Historic Places recognizes this building as California's longest-operating library, maintaining its original purpose through specific property conditions.

The Napa County Historical Society maintains research facilities and exhibit spaces within the building, continuing its educational mission for the public.

The building survived the 2014 South Napa earthquake and underwent a $1.75 million renovation that included structural reinforcement and roof replacement.
