William Land Park is a 1 km² city park south of downtown Sacramento, bounded by Interstate 5 to the west and State Route 160 (Freeport Boulevard) to the east. It contains the Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town, Funderland, and the William Land Golf Course, alongside sports fields and picnic areas.

William Land Park is named after William Land, a pioneer who built the Western Hotel at 2nd and K Streets in 1875. He was a founder of East Lawn Memorial Park, where he is buried in a Greek temple mausoleum. The park lies between Interstate 5 and State Route 160 south of downtown Sacramento.

The Sacramento Zoo within the grounds draws families and offers views of animal species from different regions. Nearby attractions like Fairytale Town invite children to explore through play and imagination.

The park has softball and soccer fields as well as basketball courts for various sports. Picnic areas with tables and grilling facilities are spread throughout the grounds.

The grounds contain several lakes that support local waterfowl while offering fishing for visitors. Paths along the shore invite walks and reveal the natural side of the park.
