All-American Speedway, Racetrack in Roseville, CA
All-American Speedway is a motorsport racing track in Roseville, California, built on an asphalt oval surface roughly a third of a mile long. The four turns are banked so that drivers can carry speed through the corners without losing momentum.
The track opened in 1954 as a quarter-mile oval and ran in that configuration for decades before being lengthened in 2008. The extension brought different racing series to the venue and changed the style of competition held there.
The grandstands draw a loyal crowd of local racing fans who come out on weekends to watch competition from close range. The tight oval means spectators can follow the action across the entire track without losing sight of the cars.
The venue sits in a central part of Roseville and is easy to reach from main roads, with large parking areas nearby. Permanent restrooms and food stands are on site, which makes attending longer race events straightforward.
The lap record was set by Robbie Kennealy during an ARCA Menards Series race, at around 14 seconds per lap. That time gives a sense of just how fast drivers move on such a short oval.
