Jane Sanders Stadium

Jane Sanders Stadium is a softball facility at the University of Oregon in Eugene that holds 2,500 spectators. The playing surface has a clay infield and artificial turf outfield constructed to handle the wet conditions of the Pacific Northwest.

The facility opened in 2016 and replaced an earlier field that had been in use since the 1930s. The new stadium was built through a significant investment project for university athletics.

The venue serves as the home field for the Oregon Ducks softball team, hosting regular competitions that draw fans from the campus and surrounding area. Watching a game here connects visitors to the university's athletic traditions.

The stadium has comfortable seating areas with modern restrooms, food and beverage concessions, and a large video board. Spectators can find seats easily and have good sightlines from throughout the venue.

A major portion of the funding came from a private donor who named the stadium in honor of his late wife. This reflects strong local support for university athletics through personal philanthropy.
