Chapman Hall is a rectangular building featuring terra cotta and brick facades on the northeast corner of the Memorial Quad at University of Oregon. The structure combines functional classrooms with communal spaces while maintaining its original architectural character.
The building was completed in 1939, funded through the Works Progress Administration program and designed by architect Ellis F Lawrence. It was named after Charles H Chapman and marks an important moment in campus development during the Great Depression.
