Mary's Club, Strip club in Portland, US
The club occupies a two-story building where performances take place on a main stage and throughout designated table areas. The space spans multiple levels with different zones arranged for different types of entertainment.
The building started as a piano bar in the 1930s and transformed into an adult entertainment venue in 1954 when Roy Keller acquired it. This shift marked the beginning of its current identity.
The venue's walls display murals created by La Monte Montyne, featuring scenes that resonated with patrons of that era. These artworks continue to define the visual character of the space today.
The location is now on West Burnside Street following a move from its original Southwest Broadway position. Visitors should be aware that entry requirements and house rules are strictly enforced.
The club remained at its original Southwest Broadway location for nearly seven decades before relocating in December 2021. This move to a new address marked a significant turning point in its long history.
