Park Place, Postmodern skyscraper in Financial District, Vancouver, Canada
Park Place rises 140 meters with 35 floors, featuring pink granite facades and copper-glazed windows at 666 Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver.
Completed in 1984, Park Place emerged during Vancouver's architectural development phase, becoming British Columbia's largest office building with 64,856 square meters of space.
The building incorporates Chinese numerical preferences in its address selection, reflecting Vancouver's strong connections with Asian communities and business practices.
The building stands directly across from Burrard SkyTrain station and houses multiple international companies including RBC Capital Markets and the Consulate General of Brazil.
While utilizing only 35 percent of its site, Park Place integrates water features and an amphitheater within its surrounding green spaces.
