Plateau Point is a 3,789 ft cliff-elevation point on the Tonto Platform in Grand Canyon National Park, about 3 miles north-northeast of Grand Canyon Village. It sits on 100–200 ft thick Tapeats Sandstone cliffs and overlooks the outfall where Garden Creek Canyon and Pipe Creek Canyon intersect. The point is reached by a short trail from the Tonto Trail, which crosses west of the platform.

Plateau Point sits on Tapeats Sandstone, a layer roughly 100 to 200 feet thick that rests directly on rocks of the Great Unconformity. This contact marks about 1,000 million years of missing rock and time, a gap in the geological record between the Tapeats and the older basement below.

The location serves as an observation point for researchers studying the geological layers of Tapeats Sandstone and their formation patterns over time.
