National Bowling Stadium, Professional bowling stadium in downtown Reno, United States.

The National Bowling Stadium is a sports venue in downtown Reno with 78 tournament lanes across about 33,700 square meters (363,000 sq ft) under an aluminum dome. The complex seats about 1,100 spectators and includes the bowling lanes, a museum, and event spaces.

The venue opened in 1995 to help revitalize downtown Reno during a period when the city's economy needed new attractions. The project was part of broader efforts to establish Reno as a major destination for bowling tournaments and sporting events.

The museum inside displays the history of bowling through portraits of legendary players and equipment from different eras. Visitors can see how the sport and its gear have evolved over the decades.

The entrance is marked by a large aluminum bowling ball sculpture that is easy to spot from the street. The complex has different levels and areas for various activities, so it helps to know what you want to visit before arriving.

The entrance is dominated by an 80-foot (24 m) tall aluminum bowling ball sculpture that is one of the location's most recognizable features. The building has also served as a filming location for several movies, making it known beyond the local bowling scene.

Alternative entertainment in Nevada

Nevada offers far more than the casinos of Las Vegas and Reno. The Clown Motel in Tonopah houses an unusual collection, while the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas preserves historic electric signs. The Pinball Hall of Fame displays machines spanning several decades, and the International Car Forest near Goldfield presents painted vehicles as outdoor art. History seekers can explore the ghost town of Rhyolite near Beatty with its abandoned mining era buildings and the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, a working tavern since 1913.
