Maison Souquet, Five-star hotel in the 9th arrondissement, Paris, France.
Maison Souquet is a small five-star hotel with twenty individually decorated rooms and suites that feature period furnishings from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Originally established as a discreet maison close by Madame Souquet in 1905, the building housed a girls' school from 1871 to 1880 before its transformation.
Each room is named after famous courtesans of the Belle Époque such as La Castiglione and La Belle Otero, celebrating their roles in Parisian society and nightlife.
The hotel offers a private spa with a swimming pool and hammam, a hidden bar, a library, and 24-hour room service for guest convenience.
The interiors were designed by Jacques Garcia using over 394 feet (120 meters) of silk and authentic decorative elements to recreate the atmosphere of early 1900s pleasure houses.
