The church building combines elements of Bungalow, American Craftsman, and Gothic architectural styles in its construction at 302 South Kendrick Street.
Built in 1926 under architect Pete J. Lindemann's design, the church earned its place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
The basement of the church functions as a cultural center, hosting numerous community events, weddings, and traditional Hispanic celebrations throughout the year.
Visitors can attend regular Catholic services and participate in the December 11 procession celebrating the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Hundreds of luminarias illuminate the road leading to the church during the annual December celebration, creating a path of light for participants.
