Sass Queder, Mountain summit in Grisons, Switzerland
The Sass Queder peak rises to 3,066 meters within the Bernina Range, offering views of the Pers and Morteratsch Glaciers across the Swiss landscape.
The Diavolezza mountain station, constructed at 2,978 meters elevation, has served as the primary starting point for ascents to Sass Queder since its establishment.
The mountain path attracts numerous Swiss and international visitors who follow the tradition of mountain hiking while observing the Alpine environment.
The summit trail extends 1.5 kilometers from Diavolezza station, requiring approximately 30 minutes to climb the 110-meter vertical distance to the peak.
At the mountain's peak stands Europe's highest barbecue area, where visitors can prepare meals while surrounded by views of Piz Palü and Piz Bernina.
