Avenue of Stars

This waterfront promenade runs along Victoria Harbour and offers views of the water while you walk. The path features plaques embedded throughout, each one showing the handprint or signature of a film professional set into the surface.

The site opened in 2004 as a tribute to the region's film industry and its contributors. It was built with backing from a major development company and government support.

The handprints and signatures honor actors, directors, and cinema professionals who shaped Hong Kong's film world. Walking past them, you can sense how deeply film production is woven into the life of the city.

The path is flat and easy to walk, making it accessible to most visitors. Information plaques are positioned throughout, so you can learn about the people being honored at your own pace.

A bronze statue of a famous martial artist captures an action pose and has become an icon of the walkway. Many visitors pause here to take photos and remember the cultural impact of this figure.
