Woodland Crest

Woodland Crest is a residential complex in Sheung Shui comprising eight connected blocks, each nine stories tall with basement parking for residents. The development features tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, a barbecue area, and a clubhouse for recreation.

Sun Hung Kai Properties completed Woodland Crest in May 1996, introducing 548 apartments to the growing Sheung Shui area. The project marked an important expansion of residential options during that period of regional development.

The complex avoids the number four in block designations and floor numberings, reflecting a local custom rooted in cultural beliefs about this digit.

The complex provides resident amenities on-site for daily use and leisure activities. As a private residential estate, visitor access may be restricted to specific areas.

The complex was among the first in the area to adopt a smart card access system for residents in the mid-1990s. This security feature represented an early use of electronic access technology in local residential developments.
