Hong Kong Police College

The Hong Kong Police College is a training facility in the Southern District that prepares officers for different levels of law enforcement work. The institution features specialized areas for hands-on learning, including spaces for crime scene work, investigative techniques, and operational training.

The institution was established in 1893 as a basic training unit for new recruits in Hong Kong's police force. Over time it expanded into a structured center offering education for officers at all stages of their careers.

In 2020 this became the first government institution to receive formal recognition for its vocational training programs in law enforcement. The accreditation shows that the education provided here meets international standards for professional development.
