Ap Lei Chau Public Library, Public library in Southern District, Hong Kong.

Ap Lei Chau Public Library occupies the fifth floor of a municipal building and features reading areas, study desks, and collections in multiple languages. The space includes a dedicated students' study room available throughout the day.

The library opened on 20 February 1999 on the fifth floor of the Ap Lei Chau Municipal Services Building, the last such building completed before the Urban Council was dissolved. Its creation followed a May 1989 Library Committee proposal for a small library of about 500 square metres on Ap Lei Chau. The building itself broke ground in 1996 and cost HK$171 million.

The library opened on 20 February 1999 with a stock of about 39,000 books, and its 500 square metres hold an adult lending section, a children's library, a reference department, a newspaper reading area and a promotion room. It has since added Wi-Fi and a self-service printing service called Print Easy.

The library sits on the fifth floor of the Ap Lei Chau Municipal Services Building at 8 Hung Shing Street, reached by lift; the building has five lifts and separate entrances for the market and leisure facilities. It opens 50 hours a week and closes on Thursdays. The building was Hong Kong's first fully air-conditioned municipal services building.
