Aberdeen Public Library, Public library in Southern District, Hong Kong.

Aberdeen Public Library is a public library in Southern District, Hong Kong, occupying the third floor of the Aberdeen Municipal Services Building. It provides a range of resources and services designed to support the surrounding community.

Aberdeen Public Library opened on 7 May 1974 at 52–64 Aberdeen Main Road, with Fong Shu-chuen and Elsie Tu attending the ceremony. It closed in July 1978 and was replaced by a mobile library. On 10 May 1983 it moved into the new Aberdeen Municipal Services Building, and the bookmobile was reassigned to Shek O.

The library opened on 7 May 1974 at 52–64 Aberdeen Main Road, inaugurated with the chairman of the Aberdeen Kaifong Welfare Association, Fong Shu-chuen, and Urban Council library committee chair Elsie Tu present. It closed in July 1978 and was replaced by a mobile library, then moved into the Aberdeen Municipal Services Building on 10 May 1983; the bookmobile was reassigned to Shek O.

The library occupies the third floor of the Aberdeen Municipal Services Building at 203 Aberdeen Main Road, at the junction of Nam Ning Street and Shing To Road, in Aberdeen's central shopping area. The building has lifts and escalators, and the market below runs from 6am to 8pm, so the entrance is busy through the day.
