¡Explora! Science Center and Children's Museum

Explora! Science Center is a museum in Old Town that houses hundreds of interactive exhibits across two floors focused on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Visitors can engage with hands-on displays and demonstrations throughout the space.

The center was founded in 1983 when two separate groups came together to create a shared science learning space. It later merged with the Albuquerque Children's Museum in 1995 to become the institution that operates today.

The center serves as a learning hub where families and school groups from the surrounding area come to explore science hands-on. Visitors discover how scientific thinking connects to everyday life and local industries in the region.
